A semi-annual scientific journal (June-December) issued since 2006 by the Center of Basra and Arab Gulf Studies. It publishes researches electronically and in paper in Arabic and English. The magazine is concerned with the fields of literature, languages, humanities, economic sciences, law and political science, and is available to read and download free of charge. It is worth to mention that a special issue fir legal studies is issued by the newsltter semi-annually and at the same time.

  • Arabian Basra Studies Journal adopts rules of confidentiality and objectivity in the arbitration process for both the researcher and readers (arbitrators). It transmits each research which is arbitrable to authorized evaluators within the precise scientific field of the research in order to assess it according to specific points. In the event of a discrepancy between evaluator, the journal would depend on another weighted evaluator.
