الأبعاد الاستراتيجية للطريق الساحلي لشط العرب (دراسة في جغرافية النقل)

الملخص
يُعد الطريق الساحلي لشط العرب من المشاريع الاستراتيجية التي من شأنها ان تعزز المكانة المحلية والاقليمية لشط العرب بما يحويه من اهمية سياسية ، كونه يشكل شريطا حدوديا بين جمهوريتي (العراق وايران) بمسافة حدودية تمتد الى (91) كم، كما ان له اهميته الاقتصادية الكبيرة في استقطابه الكثير من الانشطة الاساسية التي يمتهنها سكان القرى المحاذية له.
ان امتداده الكلي لمسافة تقدر بـ (96) كم ابتداءً من موقع المحطة (0،0) في قرية ابو فلوس حتى المحطة (96) في رأس البيشة في قضاء الفاو , وامكانية ايصاله الى موقع القصور الرئاسية للنظام السابق في البراضعية , سيكون له بعد ايجابي يتمثل في انه سيكون جسراً ثانياً رابطاً ما بين جنوب محافظة البصرة ومركزها ، بما يقلل الازدحام المروري على الطريق الموازي له ، فضلا عن انه يسهم في امكانية سهولة الوصول ما بين هاتين النقطتين كونه يعد طريقا مختصرا بينهما ، ناهيك عما يشكله من اهمية سياحية بإمكانها ان تستقطب السواح من داخل العراق وخارجه فيما لو تم تأهيل مشروع النقل النهري .
